SSAS 2009-10 Calendar Monday, April 6th: Tartan Day Kilt Night at Galloway Station, 4211 S Lone Pine, 7-9 pm. Featuring the music of Beau Buffington & Galloway Crossing. Wear your kilt and tartan and "show the colours" for Tartan Day! Saturday, June 20th: Midsummer Picnic, St. John's Episcopal Church, 515 E Division St, Springfield. August: Possible joint meeting with the Ozarks Scandinavian Society (OSSSM). More details to follow. September 11th and 12th: Southwest Missouri Celtic Festival, Buffalo. The Society will have an information tent and participate in the Friday evening "Calling of the Clans" and Saturday noon ceremony. October 17th: Harvest Dance at the country home of Champ & Angie Herren. More details to follow. November 14th: Kirkin' of the Tartans, St. John's Episcopal Church, 515 E. December Saturday 12th: The SSAS Christmas Party will be at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday Dec. 12 at Bill & Nancy Piston's home, 828 S.
