SSAS 2009-10 Calendar August 15: "Kilt Night" at the Springfield Brewing Company in Springfield, MO! Wear the kilts and tartan. This is a fun night out with a large variety of drinks [alcohol and non-alcohol], excellent menu, wonderful people full of conversation, humor and sarcasm. [To be announced] Possible joint meeting with the Ozarks Scandinavian Society (OSSSM). More details to follow. September 11 & 12: Southwest Missouri Celtic Festival, Buffalo. The Society will have an information tent and participate in the Friday evening "Calling of the Clans" and Saturday noon ceremony. October 24: Harvest Dance at the country home of Champ & Angie Herren. More details to follow. November 14: Kirkin' of the Tartans, St. John's Episcopal Church, 515 E. Division, Springfield, 7.00 pm.
